How to Play YouTube Music on Amazon Echo

Amazon offers one of the best lineups of smart speakers with the Echo devices. There are different Echo speakers at different price points to work with various third-party apps and accessories. A notable omission from the list is Google’s YouTube Music service. You can still connect your Amazon Echo to a smartphone via Bluetooth and play YouTube Music on it.

Amazon offered the necessary APIs for developers to integrate a music streaming service with Alexa on Echo. Popular names like Apple Music, Spotify, iHeartRadio, and Apple Podcasts already support Alexa. Google has yet to board the Alexa train. You need to use the Bluetooth trick to play YouTube on Amazon Echo.

This article will show you how to connect your phone to Amazon Echo via Bluetooth and play videos from YouTube Music or any other streaming service.
