Victony Announced as Second Nigerian Featured Artist for COLORSxSTUDIOS and Spotify Partnership

Following the announcement of their collaboration earlier this month, Spotify’s shared spotlight RADAR and COLORSxSTUDIOS now shines on Afrobeats singer-songwriter, Victony – the campaign’s second featured artist.

In a bid to further showcase emerging talent from Africa, the Spotify RADAR and COLORS partnership focuses on selected Nigerian artists who regularly make waves beyond their home turf. Featured artists are featured on the COLORSxSTUDIOS website which fans can visit to learn more about each artist, and are also streamed on Spotify’s RADAR Africa playlist.

RADAR Africa supports the continent’s emerging musicians by exposing them to new audiences around the world – a product of this program is the RADAR Africa Spotify playlist, curated for those who want to discover new music across the continent.

In partnership with Spotify RADAR, COLORSxSTUDIOS is a hugely popular global music platform that showcases up-and-coming artists through their distinctive video performances.

The highly anticipated announcement of Nigeria’s second featured artist is rising chart-topping star Victony. He first burst onto the scene with his Soundcloud mixtape The Outlaw King.

Originally producing rap music, he has since moved on to a versatile mix of Afrobeats, RnB, Trap and Afropop sounds. Victony’s escape trail that put him on the radar was his 2021 collaboration with Mayorkun, Holy Father. His last outing Colombian has also enjoyed huge popularity around the world, with over two million Spotify streams to date.

For her COLORS performance, Victony shares her vibrant and inspiring new single, many man. The hit track comes from the back of his previous EP, Outlaw EP, who had listeners in anticipation of his next project.
